Hello community,
I have a questions regarding “Unit Groups”:
When I create a new unit-group (e.g.: 1-level support) I have to define the “Primary Unit” (e.g.: 15 Min.). Then I could define further units, for instance “1 Day”.
For this additional unit I have to define the quantity and the “Base Unit”, so for my “1-level-support”-sample I have to define the following:
- Unit: 1 Day
- Quantity: 32
- Base Unit: 15 Min.
My question is the following: Where in the system is this quantity-relationship between a unit and the base-unit used?
Because when I define a new pricelist I have to add a price-list-item for each unit, so the system is not able to understand that “1 day support” costs 32 time of a 15 Min support.
Furthermore is there a standard report in place the answers the following question:
- How many units of the product “1 Level Support” was ordered in the last year?
The report should not show the information that the “1 level support” was ordered x time with “1 Day” units and y times with units “15 Min”, instead the report should show all orders of the product with the unit 15 Min (primary unit) of the product “1-level-support”.
Regards,
Daniel
