Duble clicking on hyperlink field - CRM 4

Hi all,

In CRM 4 when I double click on a hyperlink field it opens up that url in a new window.

How do I:

1. Change the url after someone double clicks on that field in order to redirect them to another page (like a URL hack)?

2. Suppress this action?
