Record updated through REST and onLoad but the updates are not shown in the views

In my Accounts entity I have a field called "Record Count" that gets updated using REST, on the OnLoad event. 

Here is the problem; I have a View that should display the Record Countautomatically. The view is called "My Active Accounts" but theRecord Count field is not populated until the Account form is manually opened up and loaded and then the REST function fires updating the Record Count. 

This means that users have to click on every account to open them up manually so that the onLoad event fires and the record count updated.

Is there an easier way?
